Delete your AccentPoof account

This page explains how to delete the account and data of the app AccentPoof.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open AccentPoof and go to the Me tab.
2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
3. Confirm.
4. Your account, recordings, voice twin and progress are deleted. You do not need to contact us.

Without the app

If you cannot open the app, email support@accentpoof.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my AccentPoof account”. If you signed in with Apple’s private relay email or with Google, tell us which one and include the account email shown in the app. We check that it is you, then delete within 30 days. This page is the account deletion web address listed for AccentPoof on Google Play.

What is deleted

Your profile and preferences, all your voice recordings, your voice twin clips and the consent records for it, your scores, transcripts, plan, lessons, progress, streaks, the words you added, your reports, the subscription status record and your usage counts. Your sign-in identity is also deleted, unless you use another one of our apps with the same login. In that case only your AccentPoof data is deleted and the login stays so the other app keeps working. We also ask RevenueCat to delete your customer record for AccentPoof.

What stays

• Records we must keep. Transaction records that the law requires for tax and accounting, encrypted backups and provider logs. We keep these only as long as needed for those purposes, then delete or anonymize them. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their policies.
• Anonymous data. Statistics that cannot identify you, and invite links you shared, without your name.

Delete only part of your data

• Your voice twin: Me > Voice twin > Delete my voice twin. It is deleted right away, and at the latest within 24 hours.
• Your recordings: Me > Recordings > Delete all my recordings deletes them from your phone and from our servers.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings first.
